A.I.: End of Humanity or Super Cool?

There is much debate with regard to how long before computers/robotics reaches the point where there is true artificial intelligence…when ‘machines’ can think and act independent of human input and intervention.

Late theoretical physicist (and big thinker) Stephen Hawking once told Wired the following … “I fear that AI may replace humans altogether. If people design computer viruses, someone will design AI that improves and replicates itself. ” …“This will be a new form of life that outperforms humans.”
