Now that we have your attention …

The Maritime Specialty Service Dogs Society (MSSDS) is a nonprofit organization who adopts adopts rescue dogs and gives them extensive training from Certified Service Dog Trainers.

After that, they places them with recipients who need Service Dogs.

They train for needs like PTSD, Autism, Seizure Alert, Anxiety, Wheelchair Assistance, Hearing Alert, Cerebral Palsy and Diabetic Alert and others.

This costs money, and they rely on their big fundraising event to pay for the needs of dogs while in their care; for things like veterinary care, feed, training tools, parasite control, pet insurance, etc.
