Country supergroup The Highwomen covered Fleetwood Mac during an appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show Wednesday.

According to Rolling Stone Country, Shires’ fiddle work intensifies the song’s themes of heartache and anger, while the group’s four-part vocals take the song to the next level.

The performance featured instrumental support from Jason Isbell and brothers Phil and Tim Hanseroth.

The Highwomen–Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Natalie Hemby and Amanda Shires–recently recorded a studio version of “The Chain” for the soundtrack of the female-led crime drama, The Kitchen.

The film opens in theaters this Friday, August 9.
