ABBA announced on Instagram that they’ve reunited to record two new songs, which mark their first new music in 35 years. “We all four felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the studio,” they said. “And it was like time had stood still and that we had only been away on a short holiday.” The legendary Swedish pop quartet added that their upcoming “avatar tour” was what prompted the “extremely joyful experience” of returning to the studio, which “resulted in two new songs.” The band’s statement goes on to say, “One of them, ‘I Still Have Faith in You,’ will be performed by our digital selves in a TV special produced by NBC and BBC aimed for broadcasting in December.” Image courtesy of HUH Magazine.
