WET NOSE WEDNESDAY — brought to you by Global Pet Foods

Meet Winnie – our newest member of the SPCA Palliative Care program. She is five-years-young and looking for her Christopher Robin.

Winnie is back at the shelter but she has been enjoying life with a wonderful foster family. This is what they had to say:

“Winnie is a cool, calm, collected cat. Once she warms up to you she is the sweetest, loves chin scratches, will follow you and lay near you. She’s not one for being picked up but will let you know when it’s time for some love. She’s a very chill cat. She loves looking out the window and loves watching birds and squirrels on the tv.”

Winnie is currently on a Urinary Diet that you can get from your local vet. She was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and is on two oral pain medications that help manage her pain. This medication will be covered by the SPCA’s palliative care program, so you just open your heart and home.

Winnie is looking for family with no other animals , like Eeyores or Piglets, and adults only. Drop by the Dartmouth SPCA today to meet Winnie and take her home.
